Leadership plays a key role in our Community Ambassadors Programme, Youth Volunteer Programme, and our annual Leadership Summer Camps.
Through these programs, we empower young people by providing them with increasing levels of responsibility. Our Community Ambassadors and Youth Volunteer initiatives offer valuable coaching and qualifications to those who are ready to take on more, helping them develop essential leadership skills for the future.
To me being a SAYC means a lot because I’ve always wanted to make a positive change and I wanted to help people so me looking after kids who don’t have a good home life or don’t have a good time at school. I want them to feel welcome. That they have a safe space to go to and that they can talk to me anytime with a open voice and that I will listen to them and make them feel heard. What I have learnt is how much I have grown during the couple of years I have been here.
