The coaches and players are preparing for the start of the 2024/25 football season.
Recently, the coaches have implemented a new code of conduct for coaches, parents and the players to follow during training and matchdays. This has been received well and we have seen a change in attitudes and behaviour at training and friendly matches.
We have three new assistant coaches who are eager to get involved and support the team and are part of regular meetings to discuss any updates or concerns. We are looking to start a girls’ team and would be interested to hear from anyone who is interested in playing or even coaching.
The growth of the team in general with more players involved, structured Tuesday night training sessions and the potential of a girls team forming this year makes it a great time to be involved with SYEP FC.
